have a budget of 10,000 and looking to buy the old shape but new zafira for 10,600. it will have vauxhall lifetime warrantee, is this a deal deal or should i be looking at a used car of better made?

The lifetime warranty has its limitations. From the terms and conditions, as the car gets older and worth less Vauxhall may decide that the vehicle is uneconomic to repair and pay an agreed value for the car.

Being pretty long in the tooth now, it may lose a fair bit of value in depreciation - but you're not going to get much choice of new 7 seaters with new car warranty for £10,600.

I assume you're looking at the 1.6vvti Exclusiv model? I bought one last year for £10k (although I got a further £300 off with a voucher from Vauxhall)

It was ok, but the 1.6 is slow, and pretty thirsty - I got around 32mpg, with a best of 36. I would have accepted that if it was nippy but it wasn't so I swapped it! Try before you buy!
