It must be very difficult dealing with spammers who repeatedly register under different dodgy sounding names, and then bombard the site with offers for unsaleable scrap tat they are trying to offload.

I'm not clicking on any of their posts, hopefully if no one looks at their posts they'll eventually give up and go and get a job, well ok thats unlikely but one can live in hope.

Is there any way that the spammers ISP address can be banned, i expect these are originating from one or two individuals.

They annoy us enough Avant Lord knows how you feel about 'em, they are probably a little bit thick for if they wanted to guarantee no sale if they were the very last kicthen rip off company in the world then spamming here is one of the surest ways to that end, you have our appreciation and sympathy in dealing with the blighters...any way we can help just ask.

If it goes on too long I can ask our developers to check their ISP addresses - as you say there must be a common source. It's the stupidity of these people that's so annoying: a moment's thought would tell them that this is no way to sell goods - especially if their spelling or grammar are up the Swannee.

It's even worse than that isn't it Avant. These websites we keep getting linked to are just websites. The businesses don't exist and the stuff advertised isn't real.

Lack of an advertised postal address usually gives it away. They must think I was born tomorrow.

Do bear in mind that with some of these websites, they can be infected with malware. Just by being on the webpage they are trying to get into your system through the browser.

Another good reason for ensuring your security and browser/software are up-to-date
