Ford B-MAX 1.6 petrol auto - Miss firing been back to garage 4 times - Sepitmus
Hi bought new bmax August last year it's been back to Bristol Street 4 times, no fault showing on dashboard so it has to be warm and miss firing when I take it in, if I turn it off I don't know when the fault will show again. The worst thing is when fault starts I lose acceleration I can only drive 30 mph which is so dangerous on the motorway or most country roads ( they say it's the car protecting itself). I have very poor health hence buying a car with sliding doors, so I am inclined to not drive it cos of the terrible hassle having hooting angry line of cars trying to overtake a brand new car so of course it can't have a fault..... Please help I don't know what to do next... Thank you for any advice

Moved to Technical, where you should get more replies.

Maybe try another Ford dealer who should have more clue. A dealer's diagnostic equipment should be able to trace this abnormality, so i don't know why Bristol Street's can't.
