Are the glow plugs working OK?

Air leak allowing air into fuel system overnight / fuel to drain back to tank?

Is fuel pressure getting high enough as I seem to recall these common rail engines won't start if the initial pressure isn't high enough?

Ford Mondeo 2.0 tdci 115 - starting problem - deano1112

the fuel pressure is low on start up then 10 seconds runs like new rolls

ran car at speed other day 125mph it never bat a eye lid

cooled down 15 mins at 40mph or so turned car off

restart car and 10 secs to reach idle.

your in the right ball park pressure in rail low at start but starts first turn in morning

but idle bad for 6 seconds if you turn off and restart, the engine as to turn over on battery untill it runs rough for 10 seconds. then will drive perfect.

P0302 points to a problem with cylinder 2 and could be a dirty injector.

BenG's advice is good. To check if the fuel is running back, squeeze the rubber priming pump (if the car hasn't got one, then fit one 'cos it makes things so much easier). If the rubber bulb is already full, it isn't that!
