hi just wondering i anyone knows if i can still tow safely with the rear prop shaft removed cheers

Even if a Freelander will still drive with the rear prop removed, if you're going to tow with it why would you not want the advantage of 4WD?

If the prop has been removed to hide a seized VCU then you're not going to damage it further because it's already knackered.
