Do what the car asks : ie, go to a workshop ( garage ) and get the error memory read. Trying to diagnose a fault without doing this is pure guess work, it could be one of many things.

Less expensive than a VW garage code read.

Went to workshop. Mechanic Identified as faulty pedal sender. Changed sender, Problem still exists, Mechanic revisited and said that sender signals are getting to ECU but ECU not transmitting correctly ?? What now ??

It sounds like your chosen mechanic hasn't got much of a clue or the correct diagnostic equipment.

You will need to take it to a dedicated diagnistics garage with capability for VW or a VW Independant garage. They will probably diagnose the problem in seconds.

The usual problems with this car are leaking ( perished ) vacuum hoses ( control turbo & EGR ) or sticking turbo vanes.
