On the 17th February we were stationary in traffic in the centre of Hanley, and we were rear shunted by a FIAT 500 car that hit us whilst still possibly doing about 20 to 30 mph, as the driver admitted to the police they were looking at the car park and shops instead of the traffic.
We have been reading quite a lot about the frames of cars now that once bent will not be repaired we are still awaiting to hear back about what is happening. The rear 2 seats inside the car will no longer go up as they have been moved aout of alignment and when moving there is a loud scraping sound coming from the rear wheels but we could not see anything touching them also the rear of the car has received quite extensive damage and looks like the floor has lifted at the very rear. Have included a couple of photos and a link to the video footage out the front of my car. This is the link to my video of the shunt and photos
