i would really appreciate if anyone can help me, my partners 2002 mondeo tdci 130bhp suddenly stopped just after christmas while we were out in it, big black cloud of smoke and then it died, since then its had a new engine, 4 new injectors, fuel filter, cam sensor, fuel filter, fuel pipe, fuel rail, nothing has worked and it is saying there is low fuel pressure on the diagnostic computer. we tried a new crank sensor in it and the fuel pressure was ok but it still wouldnt start. but now the pressure has gone down again.we are slowly loosing the will over this car and really need help to get it started. any help would be much appreciated

You don't say the mileage on the car, or does it have a good service history.
As I found to my cost it is sometimes cheaper to take the car to the main Ford dealer and ask them to have a look and quote you for the repairs.
they will probably charge you to reading the fault codes but that could be cheaper than replacing everything under the bonnet including the engine.

Could be cam sensor or fuel rail pressure sensor ?. Was the old fuel pump swapped over from the old engine ?

Low fuel pressure can be caused by a worn fuel pump.
