Hi, I have a citroen xsara picasso 51 plate and today i've been having a couple of issues. It was fine first thing this morning, but after 20 minutes of driving there was a warning light on the dash saying the drivers door was open. I pulled over and tried opening and shutting the door, but it did nothing, so i put the drivers side window right down and back up again and that seemed to do the trick. But after visiting relatives when i came back to the car the courtesy lights were on, door were all unlocked. Im not using the manufactured central locking, I had a different one installed a few months back as i needed to replace the ecu unit. but locking the doors with my key has also not been an issue (I have only used the ignition key in the drivers side door).
The doors don't seem to be locking and whilst im driving the warning light for the drivers door being open is constant, also with the courtesy lights - I have turnt these off to not drain the battery-
Also not sure if this is linked but I have recently noticed that the hazard light in the centre of the dashboard has recently started flashing when I turn the engine off. Also another thing, could this be related by the storms which were in the Uk last night?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
