SAAB 9-3 Convertible - Air heater Fan and air conditioning not working - the man44

I have a 2004 Saab 93 Vector(auto 2.0). Today the heating air fan and air conditioning have just stopped working. Meaning no air seems to be coming out at all !

I purchased the car in June 2013 and ever since I purchased the car there has been a clicking noise that came on for 5-10 seconds after I switched off the air con or heating fan. I'm not that bothered about the clicking noise but I am bothered about no air coming out.

Is there a quick easy and cheap way for me to fix this? and what is wrong with my car?

Fuse, fan switch or the fan............fuse is quick and easy ..you will need a multi-meter of some sort to check the switch or the fan.

Quick,easy and cheap are not things that can be done on a modern car.Certainly check the fuses first,but I would more likely to suspect a fault with the blower fan motor or speed regulator (same system as vauxhall vectra).You will need to drop the glove box forward to make any checks on the system.The noise you can hear is probably the air re-circ flap operating.hth
