I don't know if anyone else here recognises a serial number beginning with B.
We can help with M followed by six or seven digits, and possibly with V numbers.
Please check you have actually read the S/N, which will be stamped or printed on a label attached to the body of the radio, visible if you pull the radio a little way out of the dashboard.

Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.

Hi guys. Managed to get the problem fixed, thanks to a link galaxy had left. Worked first time and no problems what so ever.
Any one with the same problem should scoll down the messages and try this link.
I found my SERIAL NO. By holding down numbers 2 & 6 at the same time for 3 seconds plus. This worked for a fiesta zetec 2004. Radio model 4500 RDS EON.

Sorry, FP - I wasn't criticising you in any way whatsoever. What I was criticising was the newly-imposed Puma People Decode website delay of 20 minutes to get a free radio code!
Perhaps we should ask HJ to contact them?
I agree, the timing of our two posts was purely coincidental.
I think I did used to have a code generator on one of my computers that I used to use before the Puma People one became known. Whether I can still find it, though, is another matter - I know it's not on my current computer.

Sorry, you won't get a "V" code for free. Myself and the others on this forum who do codes can only do "M" ones.
For a "V" code you will need to go to your local Ford Main Dealer. Or, if you have a look on Ebay you will find several advertisers who claim they can supply them.

No - we can't help until you supply a serial number, which should be in the form M or V followed six (or occasionally, seven) digits.
If you can't get it from the display, you need to use special release tools and pull the unit forward a little until you can see the serial number.
