2002 Zetec Petrol - Ford Focus Zetec 2002 - Radio Code - d2002

Hi all,

Having major issues with battery, key fobs etc. Disconnected battery last night to charge it and now radio asking for code - have tried 4 times unsuccessfully.

When I obtain radio serial number (switch radio on holidng 1+6 then releasing 6) it shows:

MGP DJ5 then

4-09 then

070200

So, not sure what my serial number is.....so I'm not sure of the code. I tried 070200 into one of the code apps and it came back with 7728 but tried that and it locked me out for 30 minutes.....

The code 7728 is correct for the s/n given ,but suspect this is not the s/n.It will start with an M.and 6 digits.Pull the radio forward to get the correct number from the white label.hth

Having trouble getting the radio out. When I bought the car it din't come with the 6000cd release pins.....will keep trying, but I'm about to take a hammer to the whole system....

Ok got the radio out and sn code now.....but, the whole thing died - think my battery is 100% dead....gonna jump it tomorrow - I'll pop back if I have further dramas
