I've been reading various horror stories about dpf issues. I had never even heard of dpf until a few months ago. For years now I have had diesel cars becauseI need a decent size practical car for the family and to keep my income tax down on my company cars. I cover maybe 7000 miles per annum and the vast majority is covered around town normally short journeys. The car hardly ever sees a motorway. So I guess I am doing everything you are advised not to do with dpf diesel cars. My last 3 cars have been two Citroen c4 grand Picasso a 2008 and a 2009 model and recently a 2013 Peugeot 5008. So far no issues at all. Does this mean that Peugeot and Citroen are less pprone too dpf issues than other makes ?
