Hello, I was just wonderin whether the Yuasa ybx3000 or ybx3075 are any good and especially if you would recomend them for a focus

If they are a recomended battery for your car go with them, they are a well known and established company. I have not used their car batteries but I have used several smaller deep cycle batteries and they have proved to be very good.

Yuasa batteries are fine.Just make sure that the model you are looking at is a calcium type,suitable for the Focus smart charge system .hth

Had 2 of them on the Landcruiser, OE fitments, when they started to age and get weaker they faded away gradually like batteries used to, giving me the opportunity to top up the charge now and again until bargain replacements came along, never once failed to start the vehicle whatever the weather, if i hadn't noticed the starter truning over slower they might easily have gone on for years.

I would use again without hesitation.

The Yuasa battery on son's yaris lasted 11 years before it died.

Mine was poorer quality lasting only 10 years..:-)

Yeah exactly, the focus well all modern fords have that smart charge gizmo, that requires a silver calcium battery. I did go on their website and was recommend this battery: YBX3000. If you go on their website they say they use the lastest calcium technology.
