Poor effort by Honda there, a bit more steel and angles and even the most determined sniper couldn't make use of those rear windows...as he might once have done via the firing slits in a pill box.

Appears to be a modern phenomenon, partly a health and safety issue, so airbags and "volvo-led" safety cages mean we've had gradually rising window sills for years now.

Of course, the designers can do more with metal than glass to they can cut angles and curves into bodywork more easily, so they like it too.

Just the punters who don't.
