Oh dear, it would seem that some pedestrians are as pi**ed off with cyclists as we are!

The underlying conflict, peds/dogwalkers v cyclists on shared use, explains precisely why such mixings don't work.

I often use a shared path/cycle-track, but I won't use it at night or dawn/dusk because of extending dog leads - you can't see the things. If the dog walker's one side of the path/track and the dog's the other................................

I also find a bell of limited use. the number of times I've heard a pedestrian say " sorry, I didn't hear you the first time". How the hell do they know I've rung it more than once? My front brake screeches loudly, that's far more effective!
