Morning all,

I'm new to this site so please forgive any mistakes.

My vectra will not start on cold or damp days. All i get is a little clicking noise from the glove box area ( car wont even turn over) and the car and spanner on the dash flashes. i've changed the battery and had a diognostic on it which shows up immobiliser codes. The strange part of this problem is, It does eventually start ( after anything from 10 mins to a hour of trying, depending on the weather) and if the car has been run for a while or been heated enough by the sun the problem goes away untill the car has been left standing for a while or over night and cooled down again.

I've been browsing forums looking for a similar problem but have yet to find one so have decided to join one and ask. Any information or ideas on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
