Ok basically its running on petrol and lpg simultaneously

I know nothing about LPG systems but there must be a valve and controller that handles switching between petrol and LPG. That's probably where the fault is.

You'll probably need to take it to an LPG specialist to get the fault traced.

I presume this is not how it is supposed to work, that is, it ought to run on either petrol or LPG?

What happens if it runs out of petrol or you shut off the gas? Does it then run properly on the one fuel it is getting?

How do you know? If it was I'd presume it would be overfuelling, making it practically undriveable.

fuel level drops as well as the gas level this is how i know, it uses petrol like it is running on petrol only and it also uses gas i know because i have to keep filling up!

Gas leak?

Gas leak?

That was my immediate thought too. If you have a leak of any fuel (petrol or LPG) you should get it checked out ASAP, as this could be extremely dangerous.

As said it could have a gas leak, but it would be a sizeable leak and the smell around the vehicle when running/leaking would be unmistakeable, propane stinks.

Unless you're a good mechanic this is not something to play about with, i would find the nearest competent LPG workshops and get them to sort it.
