For sometime I have had trouble with car loosing oil, a coule of weeks ago a mechanic changed my oil pressure switch, but when I gave it a run the red light came on. I took it back and he relaced it and the oil leak seems fixed. (dipstick fine etc) However the car still sufferes from 'vibration' in low gears, when it gets up speed it seems fine. (The front suspension mounts were replaced at the same time as switch)

I took it into another the garage that does my MOT and they said they turned the engine over and let it run, and it seemed fine. I am at a loss, as it is clearly not OK.

Can you advise please. Cash is short and if it is a problem which can be sorted for a reasonable sum, and given my recent repair bills for switch and mounts, I would prefer to keep the car for another couple of years. What I fear is by using it with the current vibrations I will run it into the ground and end up with nowt to part exchange
