peugeot 206 1.4hdi - clutch not engaging when engine is warm - pastieman

have an issue with my 206...when the engine has been run for a few minutes with the gearbox left out of gear...select a gear fwd/rev... the clutch does not engage straight away..the car moves very slowly/even stalls ..same as trying to move off in 4th gear...but leave it a minute will move without issue..also if left in gear when the engine is turned off will move without issue..(ps..no slippage of clutch)..any ideas???

Seized actualor arm or clutch sticking on the splined shaft. Regards Peter

Try running some oil down the bell housing the shaft, the one the lever is fixed to.
