Hi,

This may be a bit of a stupid question, but I only got the car a month or so ago and have no manual, and any internet searches have been less than helpful.

So the car was making a different noise than usual, not anything loud or worrying really, just different. I guess the best way to describe it would be like a static noise with a little tapping.

Anyway, I thought I'd best check the oil and water before driving it again, as I haven't since buying the car, so I popped the bonnet. The oil has a couple of dark bits when I wipe it, so I'm guessing I might need an oil change? And on the top right there is a tank... it is below the minimum, so this could be the problem. Anyway, I'm not too certain if its the water or not. It looks to be a kind of reddish colour, so I don't know whether something has been added to it (antifreeze or anything) and it is simply the water, or if it is someting else. I don't want to pour water in if its not meant to be and damage anything!

Any advice as to what this tank holds??
