My 2000 saxo's engine hot light comes on when i turn on the ignition, without turning the engine on, then the engine cooling fan kicks in , can anyone help please , plenty of coolant in the engine by the way
Sounds like a faulty temperature sensor on the engine. Think it's located on the thermostat housing. Check the plug is connected ok & the pins are clean. Otherwise it will probably need a new sensor which shouldn't be too expensive.
