Ford Mondeo mk3 - air conditioning not working - moodys

hi, my air conditioning had stopped working a couple of months ago, but as the weather has now changed to a lot warmer, i thought i would have it checked for regassing, it was empty, so had it regassed, worked fine for 2 days, now it has stopped again, if i put air con on it seems to blow warm air , if i turn it off, it blows cooler air with normal fan on ?...any ideas would be grateful . thanks..my car is a 51 plate saloon...2.0 giah x

It might be there's a hole in the condenser and it needs to be replaced.

Didn't the place who did the regassing test for any leaks before refilling the system?

If it worked fine for 2 days and then stopped working then I'm afraid it's leaking.

Very likely to have a leak on the a/c system.The most common area for this is the double flexi pipe that is connected to the compressor.However this is not a cheap fix as the pipe alone is over £150.Air con condensor rads on these are usually not a problem.hth
