hi my ford focus jerks every now and then ,replaced egr valve yesterday and it jerked last night ,alsso have fuel filter changed ,checked sensor on pedals and told they were ok ,air con light comes on itself dont kno if this is all connected to the one problem but id be very grateful if anyone could help me

When you say it "jerks", do you mean like a fuel starvation kind of thing, ie momentary loss of power from the engine?. Or is it a "jerk" coming from the transmission/drivetrain area?.I have a Focus 1.8 tdci and when the heater distributor switch is left on windscreen demist position the air con light illuminates automatically. turning the switch to footwell or dash position extinguishes the light.
