You'll get better advice from a MB owners forum, but assuming it is the W210 then it should be a very good car.

The usual rust problems that caused serious issues for that model shouldn't be a problem with a Japanese import going into Oman.

A much better car than the pre facelift W211 which apart from umpteen electrical niggles also has the SBC system counting down to a £1500 bill when it expires.

If it checks out well and the condition is right for its apparent low mileage then i would have no hesitation in buying it.

MB dealers good and sensibly priced in Oman?, if not is there a decent indy set up in place?....maintaining these cars well for a long life isn't expensive unless you are forced into MB glass palaces in the West, kerching.
