Volvo 900 Series - Brand new battery losing charge - Katrina1

I have a Volvo 900 series that has been converted into a Hea*** for my business.

A week ago I replaced the battery and now find that it is not holding it's charge.

I have had it checked for the Alternator and the Solenoid and everything is fine.

By use of a power pack I can get enough power into the battery to activate the central locking system, once the central locking is activated the engine will start. When left for a couple of hours I have to start the whole process again.

Any suggestion please.

Measure the current being draw once the ECU turns off. It may be a faulty battery so also try leaving the battery disconnected overnight to see if it discharges. Regards Peter
