I live in France and have an old two-wheeled sheep trailer maximum weight 490kg which has size 155-400 tyres. The trailer is in good condition so I would like to keep it.
This is an old size tyre and now hard to find and expensive to buy. So I think it maybe better to replace the wheels which a similar sized modern one and buy them second-hand.
I did come up with one size of 155 / 70 R13 R which is a Fiat Panda size and can handle 500kg.
Can anyone say if that size will be ok or what size I should be replacing them with?
Will I have to replace the weel as well?
The existing wheel has four bolts. Are they all a standard size so all car wheels will fit?
Thanks for any responses!
