Have just noticed that when locking my A4 Avant I no longer get the indicator flash to confirm, also for quite a while now the lock on the fuel filler hasn't worked. everything else seems to work as it should.

Are the two connected? ie the ECU is recognising that the flap isn't locked therefore no confirmation flash?

Anyone any idea on the fix and/or the cause, Is it as simple as just the actuator?
