hi all,

im having issues with my heating.

the blower motor wasnt working and ive replaced that, as well as the resistor pack.

still not working, what else could it be?

Is the blower still not working or have you no just heat output? If the latter its probably a faulty water control valve.

The heater is still not working. there is heat filtering through the vents, its just natural circulation as opposed to forced.

Have you checked the fuse that protects the blower motor ?

Also check if the current is getting to the blower motor. If not then something further up the line is amiss.

yeah, checked the fuse before i started chaging things.

how do you check the current is actually getting to the blower motor, by using a voltmeter?

its an 02 so about 10 years old.

With ignition switched on,there should be voltage present at one of the wires at the blower motor ,irrespective where the blower switch is set as the system works on an earth circuit switch.Fuse supply should be F 49 30amp in cabin fusebox.hth
