Ford Focus - Audio from iPhone/MP3/Mobile - takuhii

I have a 2007 Ford Focus with the Sony CD/Radio Head unit, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about adding iPhone connectivity.

I'm not fussed if it involves a phone car-kit type setup, but the head unit has got a Aux/Line-In.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

the head unit has got a Aux/Line-In.

A simple 3.5mm plug to plug cable should do the trick. One end in the iDevice's earphone socket and the other in the aux input. Switch the stereo to aux and hit play on the phone - music through speakers.

If you're after full phone function, you'll need something like a Parott unit plumbed in. Bluetooth is more convenient than cables.

Just for music you will be better with an iphone dock to 3.5mm jack. The headphone socket isn't a line out channel, the iphone dock is.
