hi could anyone help ive got a vauxhall signum that the power steering has gone for some reason ive put new battery on it ive had it diagnostic and it says low voltage and steering wheel remote circuit malfunctionive also checked all fuses

The battery doesn't control the voltage - the alternator does - get an auto electrician to check both alternator and battery.

Argh! I have a 2006 vauxhall vectra 1.9 cdi and driving home yesterday the power steering went. I managed to pull over and turn the engine on and off and it hasnt happened again but I'm fast losing confidence in my car. Im a childminder and had 4 children in the car at the time. The engine management light never came on or any warning lights. How likely is this to happen again?
