It's a very personal thing and the calibration isn't designed to be super accurate - I run my Santa Fe at 24 on the climate control but it's certainly not that actual temperature.

Don't forget that with climate control, the temp you set it at ,is the cabin temp the system will try to maintain. So on a cold day with a setting at 22,the system will blow hot.The same 22 setting on a hot day ,and the system will blow cold.I run my mondeo at 20,and just select max defrost as reqd.hth

Agreed - it'a a personal thing, and I would find Veloster's temperatures too high. I set mine at 66 F (19 C) in winter and 64 (18) in summer: a passenger who feels the cold can have a different temperature their side if they want, but most don't.

The computer in my Octavia can be set to good old Fahrenheit - excellent. If Jesus Christ had meant us to go metric, he'd have had ten apostles.

If Jesus Christ had meant us to go metric, he'd have had ten apostles.

But he gave us 10 fingers and 10 toes, With regards to apostles he probably had a few spare mates.

How are you finding the Veloster?

Is the MPG anywhere near the offical figures? Hyundai/Kia do seem to be the best around for milking the MPG test.

Is the Veloster useable every day or impractical?

have done nearly 2000miles now and the MPG is not to bad.around town driving seems to average out at 37MPG.a cruise on the motorway at 70MPH in 6th gear has got me over 50MPG.but as with most cars short journeys will kill your MPG,,

yes i do use the car every day and the rear door makes getting in the back easier, headroom is fine in the back as long as your not over 6ft.rear parking sensors are standard making parking it a whole lot easier than without them..
