landrover freelander 2 - freelander 2 not starting - ajer

Our 60 reg freelander has drained its battery 3 times in the last 4 months. It is used regularly but not every day for a mixture of driving.

We think the radio might be slow draining the battery as some times there are issues with the radio if you leave it on when turning off ignition.

Have you any advice or seen this before. We are beginning to lose confidence in the car as my wife uses it with our baby.

You must make sure its double locked when parked

Has it got blue tooth for phone ?

Is the battery flat or has the car gone to sleep ? if the battery is startting to deteriorate then the can system shut s the car down all together to save the battery and gives you a sympton of flat battery ?

I would always make sure the radio if OFF. My own FR2 had issues with the radio turning on of its own accord but Landrover told me catagoricaly that its impossible ! but it definatley did !
