Seat Ateca - Obd port - Michael Maddison

Where on earth is the OBD port on my ateca, I need to find out why my engine management light keeps coming on so I have bought a little reader off the Internet, but can't for the life of me locate the port, none of the videos or images Ive looked at on line match up to the interior of my own vehicle

Should be under dash, driver side , above pedals . Usually purple plastic colour on Vag models .

Hi there, there's nothing that looks like it's meant to be opened, there's a panel marked up as airbag but obviously don't want to set that off.

Have you had the car from new ? If not , perhaps the previous owner has removed it from its factory location .

Are you looking on the driver's side? The airbag is on the passenger side, I would have thought unless there is a knee protector.

The passenger airbag control is on the passenger side, but I'm assuming that it might be jusr a pain to get at

All vag models have the obd socket somewhere on the driver side . Is it possible that it’s become detached from its location and fallen behind the under dash trim panel?

Found it! But it's a bit of a pain to get at
