Switzerland - E-Vignette - Orb>>.

Just about to plan a visit to see one of youngroverbelles and found this. handy to get in advance although strictly speaking I could manage without it crossing at La Cure and only driving down to Versoix. easier to use public transport on a day pass.

Switzerland - E-Vignette - Big John

Quite a few times I've stopped at the last service station in Germany before the Switzerland border to buy a Vignette(sticker). Interesting that you can now buy an E-Vignette.

Last time we drove to S'land (for Zermatt) we went via Dijon, then took the N5 via Poligny, Morez then dropped down to Nyon (to meet son at the station). It's a nice drive over the mountain and you wouldn't need the M-way (or the vignette) for the short drive along the lake from Nyon to Versoix.

Daughter told me I can get the day pass for CHF6.60 ( about £6.00 )

Do you have any reference for this ORB?

I've Googled and all the official Swiss sites that I've found seem to state

"There are no daily, weekly, or monthly vignettes."

It says use public transport on a day pass in the original post.

I understood that. Do you know how much parking costs in Geneva?

I see his point.

I know and also the back roads to do it as well. I lived in Geneva and also a short time just over the border in Coppet. Shopping in Divonne.... but white Vaud wines (Chemin de Fer for those who like the white stuff) and Gamay de geneve,

I also used to enjoy the drive from Dijon to Nyon (and reverse) in the Lotus and the 827 Rover Vitesse.
