Hi. This website won't let me post an image here to show my car. I have already asked what I ask in this post on Stack Exchange's car sub-forum, where I was able to post the picture. To see the picture, please copy-paste the following into google and then just hit the first Stack Exchange link you see.

How do I find the exact model-details for my Nissan Micra? stack exchange motor vehicle maintenance & repair

The picture shows the car itself, a Nissan Micra, as well as the 'car-details-plate' that I found under the bonnet. I'd like to know how to find out the car's exact model details, etc., which are important to know when getting new parts for it and so on? For a start, at least, I know that it's a 2013 car; I've seen online that this car is categorised as a "K13", but I don't know at all what that means nor how I would know that from the car's manual etc. . I have looked through the manual and couldn't find any such details. I don't know what the "Pure Drive" icon on the back of the car refers to either (too small to see clearly in the picture, but it's the small blue rectangle on the right-side of the boot-door).

It's important that I get these details because I need to buy new parts for it—a new seatbelt.

Unfortunately the model type description is not going to produce the correct part number for the seatbelt that you need . Quote the Vin number to a dealer.

I guess it's the VIN that I need. And, yes, apparently a dealer would be able to re-print that for me if I couldn't find it. But I doubt a dealer would be ready to advise me on buying a used seatbelt from Ebay rather than new from themselves.

I'm in Carmarthenshire, Wales.I don't know of any such place near me. My garage will replace a belt if I get it for them.

Every car shows a VIN, usually in two places, one commonly at the base of the windscreen. And even then, it is on every V5, which you should have somewhere ?
