How do you find the Avon ZX7 tyres for wear (mileage)

My 207SW gets about 30K on average. But I suspect some brands are made in more than one country so results may not be predictable ?

I've long suspected that versions of tyre sold in North America have harder-wearing compound than those same tyres sold in UK & Europe - as I don't see how they can get mileage guarantees anywhere from 60,000 to 100,000 - I presume that longer wear is at the expense of grip.

They have them for all manner of cars, so you might find a few that exactly match your situation. Obviously some tyres work and wear better on certain makes and types of car than others. I know some tyres perform very differently on RWD cars to FWD ones.

As I recall, Avons generally tended to be of a softer compound, not so good at wear, reasonable on dry grip and noise/comfort. Normally middle of the pack on price. Probably not recommended for high mileage drivers.
