Assuming you're buying from a Skoda dealer, they don't bother with stamping the books anymore and all you get is a print out.
As for the DSG, it's a bit of a gamble isn't it? When I sold my Karoq, the dealer kept testing the kick down, which I presume was something to do with checking the DSG. At 97,000 miles. I would expect the clutch on a standard manual to be in late middle age. On that basis, putting aside the usual DSG hysteria, I think it's reasonable to expect that the clutches will need attention in the medium term. Not necessarily a drama, but it won't be cheap.
