I have an early 1900s craftsman 4-square and my partner and I have been working on upgrading the various systems for some time.
Windows are on the list, but all of the research I've done is kind of unsatisfying. I feel like my options are "modern windows that destroy the character" or "exceptionally expensive restoration project".
We had a quote from a company to restore them and it was eye watering. Keen to have a rough idea of how much it will cost for someone to replace for me vs cost of replacing myself...but I think doing it myself is beyond my skill level.
