Seen a build up around this joint, I’ve cleaned it up best I can and will check it next weekend. Anyone kindly tell me what that part is for?
I’m not well educated on the part names and what it all does.

Air intake pipe onto the manifold. Nothing unusual to get a bit of oil “sweat “ around a joint . Is the hose split or damaged?

No, I did check hoses around that area, particularly the one that sits in the clip attached to that intake. I lifted it out and looked under it for signs of cracking or actual splits ect.
