Hi stumped on this one- I’ve got a 61 plate Alhambra 1.9tdi, always been super reliable till the turbo recently went and was refurbished, afterwards all was good till the coil light started flashing and the car went into limp mode a diagnostic gave error code P2563 turbo boost control position sensor circuit range/performance, can’t find this sensor and the fault is stopping the dpf regeneration- spent money on it don’t really want to spend much more- is it this sensor is it the actuator or something else?? Help please

When the turbo was reconditioned, did the vacuum actuator get replaced?
No it wasn’t it was tested and it was okay
It’s possible that it’s not ok now . Very common failure on these .
Had the actuator tested and it’s fine
Have the vacuum lines been checked/ tested ? Also the turbo actuator needs a special set up procedure.
Took it to a garage who have said the problem is the dpf I’ve had that cleaned but now they have told me there is play in the turbo and that’s what is causing the problems, I’ve got power and the turbo works which makes me think the actuator is fine? This is really confusing
