nissan note 2011 1.6 automatic - inner tie rod - blindspot

advisory on mot o/s inner tie rod. never changed one before. auto doc tell me it's a main dealer only part. can anybody tell me different. is a special tool necessary to remove it

Readily available from e bay or your local motor factor for around £20 . You’ll need a large spanner to undo it from the steering rack .

in the haynes manual ,they don't show inner tie rod removal. only the rod ends. whys that?
