Surprise offer - New MG HS SE 2025 model - Maxime.

Daughter went to look at an MGzs clearance, but called by the dealership on the offchance this morning for an HS for £22845 if she wants to take a look. The all new model.

Less than a year old/low mileage Mazda MX30 - electric with a short range but well built ad for around £15,000 extremely cheap.

New model has a petrol engine fitted along with battery but some £30K+++

Daughter went to look at an MGzs clearance, but called by the dealership on the offchance this morning for an HS for £22845 if she wants to take a look. The all new model.

It sounds like a good deal on the face of it, but MGs, and the HS in particular have not proven very reliable. I can't remember the main problems I'm afraid but a bit of Googling should help.

In addition, MG dealers and MG Customer Services are not known to be very helpful when the cars go wrong, even if it is a warranty issue.

So maybe not a bargain but if she was to go into it with these issues in mind, it may still prove a sensible choice.

She still doesn't like the touchscreen controls for the aircon and ventilation, but is listening to what hubby and others say about MG customer service.

So probably still a no.

Shame as the ZS ticked 99% of the boxes... excepting the potential warrany/customer services issues
