Hi the MID/Navigate car insurance checker isn't working for me. Nothing happened when I click search. Does anyone know if there's an alternative or any info on when it's likely to come back up? www.askmid.com/

I tried entering my car details and is is indeed inoperative. Maybe try the 'Contact' form and see if anyone replies.

It has been "upgraded" and it's been a bit of a disaster. There was about a month no one could load anything onto it and cars from the old system didn't get transferred over.

There was a not insignificant period most of the cars on the road were showing as uninsured.

It is now, sort of, working but it seems to still be a bit flakey with periods of outages.
