Came upon this interesting clip from Fully Charged with Robert Llewellyn chatting to the (Australian) owner of a 2018 Tesla Model S which has done over 700,000km!.

No, it isn't on its original battery, but the reason for the replacement wasn't because the original had degraded beyond being viable. No, it was replaced because a (software?) fault developed when it got to 666,666km!.

Front pads needed doing at 460,000km............

Sat in on a training session with KIA the other day, they’re working on a degradation of about 2% annually.

2% degradation annually seems on the high side to me.

10 year old LEAFs are usually over 80% and with no thermal management so I'd have thought current cars, particularly those with LFP batteries, should do a lot better than 80% capacity at 10 years old.
