Renault Scenic XMOD - headlight bulbs H7u - kerbed enthusiasm

The headlights in this car are perfectly acceptable for town and motorway driving but on dark country roads they're not really up to the job. I'd planned on replacing them with Bosch Plus 90 bulbs which I've found strike a good compromise between added visibility whilst not blistering the eyesight of oncoming drivers. However, the car's manual prescribes H7u bulbs to avoid UV light damaging the headlight plastics and I can't find these for sale anywhere. Could it be that all H7 bulbs now anti-UV?

Think you’re right . Any good quality bulb will have Uv protection. Bosch should be fine , assuming they’re genuine .
