I have a Fiesta Fiesta 2011 ecotec diesel, sitting on the drive, it's running fine but has a cracked cylinder head. I want rid of it. Can anyone advise please?

Take it to WBAC or put in on eBay (and mention the cracked head).

Am I missing something? How can it run fine if the cylinder head is cracked?

Poorly and with a lot of steam coming out the back?

Ebay spares or repairs, someone capable will have an engine lurking about or capable of fixing the current issues.

It is running perfect. Only found an issue by chance. When checking the coololant.

How did you establish the cylinder head is cracked?

The garage noted coolant had oil in it. They changed the cars oil cooler. Took it back a few weeks later for a flush through. They then told me this that it had the cracked cylinder head and advised to sc*** the car.

Oil in the coolant could "simply" be a failing head gasket - no need to "recycle" it for that.

Do you have any suggestions?

Take the head off and see if it's cracked or if the gasket is goosed.

Hello,i have a Ford Fiesta MK 7.5 2015,1.0 ecoboost 100ps,i have done as remap to boost ps,no issues so far.I choose liquy moly 5w20 special tec for oil,my car has 75.000km,lately we read a lot of issues with wet belt,in uk,in america, maybe at europe too,i'm started to worry about when should replace the wet belt of my ecoboost,as the manufacter supposed to say 10 years or 150.000 miles(mine at kilometers),anyone here has already change his wet belt? I've read it's tough and expensive cost to replace it.

find a good indie who can source and fit the head....cheaper than changing.

As per the OP's other post dated 4/2, the car has been sold.
