DVLA - Licence renewal - Maxime.

Thought I would share this.

Got Driving licence renewal form 23rd dec, filled in online immediately with 1 stable medical condition declared in 1994 ...

24 hours later on checking, licence issued, received with post today.

Yes indeed-applying on line is lightening quick. Snail mail applications don't have that reputation.

23rd was last Saturday. Licence issued Sunday, so someone working from home over weekend.

Assuming post collected from DVLA on Weds AM... 2 days not bad for Royal Mail..

YRG did hers a couple of months back online, alsmost as quick.

Check your valid groups VERY carefully! I've heard of numerous motorcyclists that have lost their entitlement and have experience of someone who's (apparently) passed their motorcycle test in their '60s, despite never setting foot on a motorcycle!
