Anything registered after 01 April 2017 is the flat rate of (I think) £165 a year. It obviously won't apply to a Micra but cars over £40000 cost another £360 a year for the first 5 years.

Before April 2017 they were taxed on emissions but I am pretty sure the new Micra was introduced after that date.

It was 2017 - I worked on the launch event in Croatia in February, 2017.

If looking at £12k supermini's, there are many better options than a Micra

One of the reasons you were being steered away from the Juke in your other thread is because that pretty much all modern Nissan's are actually Renault under the skin. That doesn't mean they definitely will break down, but they have, statistically, lower than average reliability. Strip away the body of the Micra you are asking about in this thread and you will find a Renault Clio (and the Dacia Sandero) lurking underneath.

BTW, if you are looking at any 2nd hand car on Autotrader, it will say what the tax is under "running costs". Looking at a 2021 Micra like you are asking about, it says £180.
