Lived in a Honda Acty demountable Romahome for a while. This approach has the advantage that you can leave it off (if you have somewhere to keep it, which I didn't) and then you have a useful wee pickup truck (with a bed size not much less than your average bloated US stylee double cab) plus the camper moulding has a deeper section that overhangs the truck bed at the back, giving headroom for the kitchen/shower bit.
Snags were accident vulnerability, which will have improved but will still be a thing, limited performance from its 550cc (Kei limit now increased) NA engine (now I believe they are mostly turboed) and horrible engine access for maintenance (which I didn't do. Who does that, right?), very limited parts availability for a very rare old vehicle, and being redirected to the motorcycle section by the snotty Honda Chiswick dealership, who sneered.
Liked it a lot, and was not alone, since it got knicked.
